PM Learning partners with IPMA World Congress 2009

- IPMA selected PM Learning to deliver an official experiential learning session during IPMA Global Congress 2009 in Helsinki. In addition, PM Learning will present on value of simulations and board games during time of change.
IPMA (International Project Management Association - one of the largest in the world) has named PM Learning an official Experiential Learning Partner for its Global Congress 2009 taking place in Finland's capital Helsinki this June. With its slogan "Refresh Yourself", organizers were looking for innovative and refrshing ways of learning and skill acquisition methods. The concept of experiential simulation learning, offered by PM Learning was a great fit to the program. Congress participants will participate in Ultimate RouteTM - project management simulation that not only challenges participants to learn and apply project management competencies in rapidly changing conditions, but also reinforces the value and dynamics of teamwork and leadership. To be successful, participants will learn and use variety of project, change, and risk management concepts and demonstrate the soft skills necessary to interact effectively with colleagues in a team setting within a rapidly changing business environment. Participants get the opportunity to experience, reflect upon their experience, and then translate into action back on their 'real-world’ projects. Ultimate RouteTM session is scheduled for the second day, Tuesday, June 16, 2009 from 10:30 to 13:15 pm. Up to 80 people will be able to participate in competition.
